Probably my favorite issue so far. Damien dealing with the loss of his father. Getting to see the young trinity together. Steph back as robin? Give me more.

This part of Dceased is the least interesting part. Luckily art is still solid and some cool moments but I don't care much about this group of people.

This was okay. Mostly Sakura and granny verse puppet master. The battle is fun because doesn't rely on big super attacks or anything and watching Sakura actually be useful is fun. But we all know how it's going to end, and Naruto story feels super slow in this volume. A 3 out of 5.

Maybe me and Matt Kindt stuff just don't mix. I think highest think I've given his stuff is a 3.

Black Badge is about a group of boy scouts doing covert op missions. They go in, extract, hide, deliver, and so on. Basically they're like mini-James Bond. And the idea is interesting enough with 4 very different main characters. Through the issues you get a feel for each one and what makes them different.

However, the dialogue is really dry. I didn't really care for any of the characters. The only one I found normal was the newest kid who kept saying what we the readers are thinking. "What is wrong with you people? Why are you doing these missions? WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?" and so on. It was refreshing to see atleast that.

But overall this was just okay. A 2.5 out of 5.

This is very much X-Men like, and if you don't believe me, you'll have multiple characters say "We're like the fucking X-Men now!" over and over again.

But this isn't horrible at all. In fact it's pretty fun. We got these two semi-losers, Charlie and Jill, basically meeting up and their powers are pretty weak but together they've become SUPER strong. The background story is there's a group against people with power, and a group who's for their rights. So yes, very X-men. And of course each group uses people. Jill and Charlie meet and somehow fall in love within a day but it somehow works?

It's a cute romance story filled with some pretty fun dialogue and even a decent sex scene. Some dramatic violence happens near the end that amps up the volume for sure. The art is solid though the style won't be for everyone. And the actual story doesn't try anything too original, so it was predictable.

Saying that I had no expectations and it was fun enough. I'll check out volume 2. A 3 out of 5.

Hill continues his adventure of writing a damn good Black Lightning and a okay batman.

I wish this was just the outsiders. Because Hill is writing Black Lightning, Katana, orphan, and Duke all great. But Batman? The leader? Not as much. I'm not feeling this moppy Batman who seems to just hate everything about himself. I think batman second guesses himself and such at times but here he seems to just want everyone to know he's not to be looked to at all as a icon or hero. It's weird.

Saying that I really liked everyone else story moving forward. Katana especially was a nice surprise as I usually dislike her story but her accepting her past and fighting off her demons was nice. I enjoyed watching Duke and Cassandra work together as a team in training with new powers. I enjoyed even the slightly flirtiness of some characters.

The plot is standard bad guy wins this round but there's more to come. The final arc. As this stands this is a solid volume but not amazing. A 3 out of 5.

I have love/hate relationship with Joshua Dysart writing style but for the most part he does right here.

Eddie is our main character here. He's homeless, a drunk, kind of a asshole, but also somehow likeable. After he discovers a young girl's dead body in the dumpster he decides to go on a hunt to find out who did it. Through visions and personal tracking down of people, he begins to uncover the truth behind the murder.

This is a dark story. There's no "good" characters except maybe Eddie's son. Poor kid got stuck with a bad hand. Saying that Eddie tries his best to do good things. He doesn't always, mostly thanks to his disease, but he really fucked up stuff in his life and atleast tries. The art ranges from fantastic (There's a shot of the beach that is breathtaking) but sometimes characters look weird, stunted, and not human-like.

Overall, if looking for a dark, twisted, who did it storyline with a interesting atmosphere and background this is worth checking into. Not as good as the other TKO books I read but pretty enjoyable. A 3.5 out of 5.

Fun first chapter. Basically JSA and JLA all have a party and it's a good time. It's not amazing or anything but it's fun. Joker running shit could be interesting but is this the same timeline as the original? We know where it'll go...

One by one the army takes over the world. Cool to see Wonder Woman in action again. Sad to know what happens. A decent chapter but more interested to see what's happening with the kids/teenagers. A 3.5 out of 5.

There's actually a lot of great moments here.

Rukia is about to be saved but her brother says "hell no" and marches towards her cell. That's when Ichigo shows up and challenges him. After a badss meeting we get a pretty one sided battle and then a new character is revealed and her powerset. On top of that we get some qunicy action as our favorite bow and arrow user goes head to head with a evil sick fuck.

Overall, super fun arc and I always said Tite Kubo did a great job with pacing and action in this arc. I can't wait to get into more. A 4 out of 5.
