Whoa, went in with zero expectations and came out really enjoying this one.
Simone does a great job of setting Domino up to be a likable character even though she's done a lot of horrible shit. She isn't a good person, but she sure tries to be. And that's kind of anyone on the X-Force team's life style now days. And while Domino is throwing a party she is attacked by some crazy psycho lady and old guy who try to kill her. She then goes into training and her friends try to back her up.
This is all pretty fun. I mean the plot itself isn't mind-blowing but the characterization is great and the art is solid. I really enjoyed all the relationships and this is one of the rare books I didn't find Deadpool highly annoying. Gail obviously loves writing Domino and I hope she gets more chances in the future to do so. A 4 out of 5.

The start of this volume has Hiro just murdering a bunch of people again. So I was worried it would be just more torture porn for mass slaughtering but finally our actual hero, Inuyashiki, makes his stand.
This volume picks up significantly in the tension as Hiro controls a bunch of planes to crash around Tokyo. Talk about mass slaughter. But Inuyashiki decides he's had enough and begins to rescue them. This finally brings the murderer and the savior to face off against each other. In a brutal fight one will come out on top but with the cliffhanger ending, and how brutal this series has been, I don't know if it'll be a happy ending. While not quite a 4, it's for sure a 3.5. So I'll bump it to a 4 on here.

Sometimes you just want to read something so insane it'll make you laugh. This is Chainsaw Man.
So at the start we have Denji who is trying to survive. He'll do pretty much anything for some money. He also has his trusty dog Pochita, who has a actual chainsaw coming out of his freaking head. So together they kill devils and make money. But one day something horrible happens to Denji and Pochita must do something to save him. Tus Chainsaw Man is born!
And with that, this insane manga keeps going. I'll be honest first chapter or two I enjoyed but didn't love. However, when they began to bring in a great supporting cast and insane battles the manga kept getting better and better. The humor also kept increasing, but in the right way, and I began laughing at a few parts every chapter.
Listen, turn your brain off, pick up Chainsaw Man, and enjoy. It's a insane action, battle manga, bloody good time. A 4 out o 5.

Here we go again. Great characterization and all my faves dying. When the new Justice league returns to earth they find out there might be some hope but it won't be easy to obtain. The end for heroes?
This volume starts off with a bang.
So the end of the last volume had Rukia stopped by her older brother and a red headed warrior with a sword. They plan to take her back to soul society but not if Ichigo can help it. The start of this is great with fast paced battles, brutal loses, and good amount of emotion. The 2nd half is the typical shonen training to get stronger. It's cool and all to see the ways they do it but it's not very interesting in the end. Just because we've seen it done in a million mangas. If going to do it, do something unique people.
But overall still solid. A 3 out of 5.

K-Pop looking vampire? Super cute main Female lead? Titty shots? MURDER AND DEATH? Yeah. I'm okay with all this.
Devil's line starts off simple enough. A girl is almost attacked by a vampire and someone comes to her rescue. Soon after we find out this protector is also a vampire. Tsukasa (the main lead girl) begins to fall for Anzia (The K-Pop vampire) and they actually get into a cute relationship. Between the cuteness and funny moments we have some vicious murders, trying to understand vampire rights, and a revenge tale.
Maybe because I wasn't expecting much but this one kind of got me hooked right away. The romance actually WORKS. It's cute, it's funny, and it's kind of sexy. These two leads work well together. On top of that the idea of dealing with the vampire bloodline and how they lose control is great and leads to some gripping stories. My only negative is the revenge tale seems to be going in a weird direction and the ending made me go "what the fuck?" out of nowhere the tonal shift happened.
But I'm eager to try more. Just bought the next 4 volumes. Let's go!!!! A 4 out of 5.

Geez this training is loooooong.
Ichigo goes through the rest of his intense training. Also his friends as well go through training to learn how to use their power. While this is all happening Rukia gets a sentence and as you guessed, that head will be chopped off in a few weeks. So Ichigo better power the fuck up.
Most of this volume has training as the theme. We even go inside Ichigo head, or his weapon's mind, and he must take control or become a hallow. The idea is pretty cool even if a bit cliche. I liked the fact the friends training too so you can see why they can do something to help when getting to soul society. The stuff with Rukia is by far the most interesting part and helps get through the training easier.
Overall not a bad volume but just another bridge to the next big arc. A 3 out of 5.

The first half is basically the end of the original Naruto series.
Naruto vows to get sasuke back. Sakura decides not to be useless anymore. Sasuke decides to train under evil. And everyone else promises they'll never fail again. So in a way this is goodbye to the childhoods they once had. On the flipside we have Kakashi whole backstory here and it's pretty damn fun. I always enjoyed this, and found it a cool way to learn about the past of a few major characters in the series.
While not a fantastic volume a good closure. Not to jump into the 2nd part of naurto. Let's see if it's better.

This is the volume where Luffy finally learns loss.
We get a civil war, Croc (the main villain) is on full display here, and we even get to see our other heroes go one on one with a bunch of bastards from Croc's crew. It's super entertaining, pretty brutal at points, and even funny. This is a pure battle volume but damn if the battles aren't pretty fun here. A 4 out of 5.

Daredevil isn't only getting better but this might become the best run when all said and done.
Matt is really struggling to figure out who he is. He decided now to train with Electra to be a better fighter once more. Because in his current situation he's fucking up way too much as of late. The other side of this book is about Wilson being the Kingpin and trying to move around in a political and smart way. But of course it's not going the way he hoped and we actually are watching the fall and rise of both Matt and WIlson at the same time.
This is such a intriguing idea to make us feel for both the villain and hero. I was invested in both stories equally which doesn't usually happen. The art is amazing and the fight scenes are so brutal and well done. This is easily one of the best looking books on the market. Daredevil is soaring high with another 5 out of 5.
