The end is here. There's just too much spoilers in this book to write much about it but the Shadow King takes his chances here to ruin and kill the locke family. LOTS of deaths, lots of epic speeches, and a whole lot of sadness. There's one weird part and I don't understand how they lived, but the rest? Pure greatness. Read this 200+ page book in 35 minutes in one sitting. Well worth it. A 4.5 out of 5.

This continues to be an amazing event. This issue deals with brock without a venom suit. He'll go against carnage even without venom but what will be the outcome? Some crazy awesome moments and the final build up to the last issue next!

Hickman is set on making X-Men the MUST BUY comic. Like he did for Avengers and Fantastic Four, this is Hickman's version of the characters we all know and love.

This is mostly focused on Scott and the world building of this new island they all live on. There's couple of cool action moments at the start but this is mostly a quiet arc. We get to see the living arrangements, what everyone is up to, and how everyone is working together to live. With plenty of humorous moments mixed with awesome character development.

The stuff with the villains is the only part I wasn't feeling. Which is odd because I usually like Hickman's villains.

Overall, really solid start. A 4 out of 5.

This was a decent follow up. Get to see Ben in the suit doing his thing. Was fun. Not sold on the villain though. But least the art remains really good. A 3 out of 5.

Holy fucking shit, what a epic storyline.

Rick Remender easily gave one of his best stories here. With the fall of everything from the last volume we only have mostly mutants alive and they must make a choice. Be happy and live in a world with only Mutants, or go back and fix things. Rick gets most characters and their motives and this volume is one big explosive emotional conclusion to a epic storyline.

I just loved it. I can't get over to how good this was. First volume of this series is good but the last 3 have been epic. With the characters all having their moments in this volume, plenty of emotional bits, and great art, this is one of my favorite storylines involving Avengers. A 4.5 out of 5.

Ummmmm maybe I just don't get it? I like Inio work but this is confusing. A bunch of characters in different time spaces, do horrible things to each other, but nothing connects. I couldn't get into this at all...

Brutal look into being a superhero while also being...mostly a piece of shit.

This is the story of Mason, a once beloved superhero who was disgraced by his own sidekick and then found out he had cancer. No spoilers, this happens fairly quickly into the story. So I was left asking "Where do we go from here?" but smartly the author decides to jump to the sidekick's viewpoint, and we see his viewpoint on the world and how he took his brand to new levels.

This is actually pretty damn fun. Especially cause both characters have tremendous flaws but at least they're both pretty honest. And the brutality of this world they live in is similar to ours with a superhero twist. I also loved the pacing, quick and exciting. The art sometimes was great while other times I had trouble following along. I also thought the ending was a tad bit anti-climatic. I hope the author writes book 2 (or season 2) because this was enjoyable.

A 3.5 out of 5, I'll round it up to a 4.

This was one of the best Batman books in forever.

See the thing is, this is light hearted, fun, and has Bruce being AMAZING for once.

No but really, this sounds simple enough. Bruce finds a egg, something is in it, and it has magical powers. So on this mission he teams up with Green Arrow, Green Lantern, and Nightwing. He travels through time, into space, underground, and more. This is really a universe adventure and it's SO GODDAMN FUN.

Brian Michael Bendis is firing on all cylinders here with letting this be super fun. Bruce has been writing in a way of being compassionate to his friends and co-workers fighting crime while also being badass. This book has so many great inside jokes, with a lot of throwbacks, and plenty of amazing action. Oh the art, man oh man, it's SO damn good. Well worth reading for the art alone, but the story rocks too.

I can keep going on and on but honestly, just read this book. Well worth every single penny. A 5 out of 5.

Beautiful art can't save this cliche, religious war, psychedelic storyline. While the fights and overall atmosphere is cold and bitter and works for the brutality, and can be fun, the messy and not very interesting narrative becomes tedious to read through. While I appreciate going for something weird and different, I could't get behind this one at all. Awesome art but meh story with even more meh characters. A 2 out of 5.

Decender is DONE~!

Man oh man there's so many fucked up moments here. You thought this would end happy? You're reading the wrong book. This series is filled with misery and when the Decenders decide they've had enough of mankind, well...we're pretty much fucked. Years and years of being chased and killed they strike back but who will survive the final blow to humans?

This is a emotional payoff in a lot of aspects. Tons of major characters die, new ones live in a world I'm excited to explore, and consequences to earlier actions display in some fucked up moments here. I really loved the ending and so excited to read its sequel Acender.

A 5 out of 5.
