Spider-man has had enough of Punisher's shit. After years of letting him go around and murder people (bad people mostly) he decides to stop all this.

So it begins with Spider-man trying to stop Frank. It's actually pretty great and shows how a pissed off Spidy is someone you don't want to fuck with. But Frank isn't dumb, and he's ready to fight back. Then, when Spidy convinces the Avengers to deal with Frank, each gives some time to track him down and speak with him. With basically a large manhunt and all the avengers doing what they must, we see a Frank on the verge of losing it all.

I really dug a lot of this. My favorite meeting being Steve and Frank talking. Thor and Frank meeting. And the art being really stellar. The fights are still brutal, the pacing frantic, and the big moments hitting hard. Besides the Black Widow issue, I really dug. A 4 out of 5.

This is the dumbest fucking manga ever and yet I just can't stop reading/laughing.

The big plan is in motion. It's time for Kiyoshi to escape prison to go on his date! However, the last volume left our hero hole in the wall filled by the principle by accident. Now he can NOT escape. Yet his new plan of dressing up as a woman to blend in and escape is now set in motion instead! Will our hero escape? Will he get caught? THIS IS IT!!!

It's the seriousness this manga tries to make all the absurd situation happen that makes it so freaking funny. The dialogue is super tongue and cheek, and inside jokes throughout, with plenty of disgusting moments mixed with sincere. The art really boost some scenes in terms of their facial expressions. Honestly the worst part is sometimes the fan service is overdone. Like to the point a character is talking and it's focus on their vagina and the underwear is riding up it and yet that's where the dialogue box decides to be.

Either way though, it's so damn funny, I just can't stop reading. A 4 out of 5.

This is well written and a cool idea to have Gotham evolve after the events of No Man's Land. The issues I had are mostly the storytelling, while good, doesn't really excite me much. Also, was NOT a fan of the art really at all. Some good stories in here like Gordan dealing with the loss of his wife, and Bruce dealing with change, but overall nothing super memorable. A 2.5 out of 5.

For my first Conan read this was pretty solid.

This is just a bunch of solo stories. They all kind of connect, well in the sense they revolve around Conan. The first issue sets kind of the blueprint of how they will go but also giving the backstory of most of the stories in here. Conan is tricked by a witch and is on the way to being killed. That's how the first issue starts and the next 5 issues kind of go over different events in Conan's life to come to this point.

The thing is, the stories are all solid. Some are better than others. The first issue was actually the weakest for me but the stories of Conan among a new tribe of people, facing off against snakes, and also stories of nearly being hung and stuff all worked well. This is typical war stories with a angry man who wants to just survive. The art is solid enough, brutal when needed, but not overly done, which is nice.

While nothing mind-blowing, it's all pretty good, and I'll check out volume 2. A 3 out of 5.

Krang is the least interesting villain for the turtles. This whole volume is basically focused on his war and him as the main villain. Loved the moments with the turtles, and they have great moments of coming together and some good fights but...Krang is a bore and them traveling to a new world was...weak. A 3 out of 5.

This has a great annual issue and a decent enough main story.

The annual, which is super big, focuses on James and Barbara's relationship. It's really weird, really creepy, and really well done. If you didn't know, Black Mirror is my favorite Batman story probably ever. This relies heavily on the fact James is the main villain. He's the villain in this annual and he's still as terrifying. The rest of the volume focuses on Batgirl's villain Grotesque. Who's that? A dude who likes to make art out of his victims.

Overall, the annual is great. I loved almost every moment. The art is pretty solid throughout and Batgirl gets a new costume which is ten times better than the last one which looked awful. So all positives there. The negative? Grotesque is a boring villain. The pacing of the story also gets a bit slow and the idea of Barbara being ashamed of her disability or thinking her father does was...weird.

So it's pretty good. I hope we get more like the annual in the future. A 3 out of 5.

This was a nice surprise.

With a generic name like Demon Slayer I expected the worst. However, this creator obviously loves the 90's, and channels a very 90's manga/anime feel. Similar to when I first began reading Yu Yu Hakusho or Hunter x Hunter, Demon Slayer gives you some fucked up situations but not overly brooding, dark, or moody. Sure, our main hero gets to witness his whole family murdered and now has to take care of his sister who is now a demon, while learning to become a warrior, a demon slayer, and trying his best to survive.

So what I really enjoyed was the fact this is really quick paced. None of it feels filler, all moves at a nice speed, and the fights and such are brutal enough but also pretty flashy. I also enjoyed the characters, especially the dynamic with the sister and the brother. I'm curious where it'll go and the art is good with some great facial expressions. My only negative is it's not something brand new, and doesn't blow you away, but it is solid. A 3.5 out of 5. Will continue.

This is probably the best issue yet.

We get to find out how Conner has a wife and kid. Bart is to funny this issue with a lot of great lines. We learn about all the new cast, even Teen lantern and Hex's granddaughter. I really liked the fights here, both epic and badass. Art is always a pleasure to look at. The ending too leads into "WHAT THE FUCK!" That I'm excited to read more.

Young Justice is back!

I really dig a lot of Brian's stuff in DC. I actually dug most of it in Marvel too despite the hate he got. Here, he brings back a lot of characters people have been wanting to see return for a long time. They get sent to Gemworld where they all begin to reconnect but they notice things aren't quite right. Things get rowdy, some characters have seem to move on with life, while others were stuck. Questions come and we might get some answers.

I enjoyed the majority of this. Bendis gives each character time to reconnect and enjoy being around each other. It's a little slow at points, but when the emotional beats hit they're good. The art is great, and some awesome freaking fights. The atmosphere is perfect, and I can't wait for me.

Young Justice is back! A 4 out of 5.

With long running series some volumes won't be as good as others. This was is solid but nothing special.

There's a solo issue of Layla being her and getting to see her views of the world. How she sees the world and how her actions might effect others. It's pretty good issue and the best one by far. The rest is okay. Some cute moments with dating moments. Some decent fights between the new baddies. And...that's basically it.

Like a episode of a tv show, it had moments, but can tell it's more a moving block arc. A 3 out of 5.
