The New Avengers are not friends anymore.

This occurs during one of the biggest events of all time. Civil War! In doing so this is jut a bunch of stories, different ones, all in one collection. Got a story of Spider-woman and what she's been up to. Luke Cage is settling down and fighting back against the orders of the government. Cap and Falcon working together to finally decide on saying "No" to Shield. And the end story is closer to the end of Civil War time where Tony is attacked by one of his employees for using a weapon he created on Captain America.

Good: The Luke Cage story and Tony one are actually pretty great. The art in both is top notch, the fights are wonderful, and also you feel the emotional weight of the Civil War. I really dug the reaction for each character in here to the overall "War".

Bad: This has some really bad art in the cap and falcon story. The Sentry story is boring. I can't stand the spider-woman story. It was dull and not interesting with a shit ton of exposition.

Overall this is the weakest collection so far as it doesn't feel connected as well as previous titles. However, I did love two of the stories so with that I'd go 2.5 overall when balancing it all out.

The Cape was the best story by far. The rest kind of meh. Just buy "The Cape" Graphic novel.

Holy balls this was WAY better than I expected.

SO I love Dinosaurs. Ever since I was a kid I thought they were the coolest thing ever. However, let's be honest, there's only a few series of books, comics, and movies with badass dinos (Looking at you Jurassic Park). So when I picked up Savage my expectations were extremely low. It's about a boy who is stranded on a island. How did he get there you ask? Well through very well done flashbacks we see how his father and mother crash landed on the island with him as a baby. Now, his whole life is based on survival, but not JUST against Dinos. Something else is on the island too!

Good: Love the two art styles. From the flashbacks to the modern art styles they are different but don't clash at all. In fact they enhance the read. The dialog is pretty tightly done, never boring, and the pacing is extremely well done keeping it always entertaining. The fights are vicious, but worthy to view. Also the ending is great and can't wait to see the next arc.

Bad: Some of it goes by TOO quick. Another issue would have helped flushed out the younger days but I have a feeling we'll get more of that once we're in modern time in the next book. Also, 4 issues? TOO SHORT!!!

Overall this was a blast. I read it quickly because I was glued to it, wanting to find out what was next. It also helped the art was wonderful. A easy 4 out of 5.

*Knock Knock* is that you Chronicles?

I kid. I actually enjoyed this one a bit. It's ALOT like Chronicles, which is okay with me, I loved Chronicles. So you have three hacker friends who decide to run a big scheme and gets lots of money. Most of them for admirable reasons. However, when they try that, they are struck with a virus of some sorts that gives them powers. One of flying, one of super strength, and one...well I won't spoil that one. However, as they get stronger, things get worse, because...more interesting.

Good: The fights are brutal and fucked up but always entertaining. The storyline gets progressively more screwed up and can see why these characters become worse and worse. The ending leaves it open but also if never continues that's okay. Also the art is unique and pretty different.

Bad: The underlying message about the government and the weak and so on is cool but a bit too hamfisted. I also thought this should be longer. Sometimes Ales Kot writes stuff but it feels incomplete or not showing you the complete story. The change of one of the leads was too quick, to sudden.

Overall I had fun reading this. Brutal, screwed up, pretty much always entertaining. I'd go with a solid 3.5 out of 5 for this one.

So I didn't love the first book but this one was a lot better.

These are basically side stories, or gotham stories, so it's not always staring the Batman. I kind of love that. Because when the hero comes in, more of a impact. So we have one with Huntress and Manbat, one with Damien and Dick hunting down a killer who forces children to fight to the death, and also introduces Abuse who's a kid who was infected with venom and can become huge and fights for Justice like Batman.

Good: Both storylines are really good. The twist at the end of the man-bat one works really well and the build up is solid. I freaking loved the storyline of Damien and Abuse teaming up together to take down a serial killer murdering children. It felt like it had stakes which is really nice.

Bad: I thought could have been a issue or two more squeezed in.

Overall very exciting, fun, and dark. This is what a side batman story should read like. A 4 out of 5.

So what happens now that everyone knows our favorite hero is big old pervert?

Well no one knows. Because psycho decided to cross out his name on the board. So the pervert mystery still goes! Except for the girl he likes, because she knows it's him by the sign left from the book he gave her, and BAM! She doesn't care. She loves him. She's okay with him stealing her uniform and wearing it on dates. Japan right?

Good: This is still pretty entertaining if not over the top. The struggle between the two female leads is interesting as I feel they are very similar despite being very different. Also the art remains to be a highlight.

Bad: The ending...kind of got boring sadly. I think it'll pick up again but this ending was the weakest one of the series. Also the situations are getting a little overdramatic.

Overall silly but still fun. I'ma keep reading it cause, lol, why not. A 3 out of 5.

I should have known better. I'm really loving Red Hood Rebirth so I figured try new52....bad idea...

This is about a man on a quest to be a hero of somesort? He meets up with Starfire and they fuck, then rescues Roy, and he fucks her, then they go on missions together to stop bad guys by being somewhat outlaws? I dunno...who cares.

Good: Nothing.

Bad: Everything.

This is awful. Go right to Rebirth for Red Hood.

This was awful.

So short summary for a 80 page book. A prostitute becomes a superhero, joins the justice league, extremely over the top racist members, dumb as fuck scenes (a blowjob involving cum destroying a plane) and terrible dialog basically just shouting "Fuck this fuck that" all day. Overall this is pretty awful. Skip it.

The New Avengers aren't kind of the broken avengers now after civil war.

Cap is dead. Ronin is dead (or dying). Hawkeye is back because...comics. Between Iron-man hunting down people who won't register with the rest of the new laws, and then add in the fact Electra has killed Ronin, and then twist and turns non-stop things start crumbling around our heroes. Then...the biggest twist of them all. Is a new war upon our heroes?

Good: The brawl between the new avengers and the mighty avengers was great. The feel of being chased is scary and gives a new outlook for our heroes. Hawkeyes return isn't bad either, despite it being less than two years since he's been dead. I also thought the ending is a great build up to big events coming.

Bad: The stuff with electra is just a huge fucking fight that last far too long. Even the banter was getting annoyed. Also the hawkeye with scarlet witch stuff was okay though it lasted far too long and could have been wrapped up better.

Overall a solid volume. Not amazing but a better show than the last volume. Bendis gives our heroes fun adventures but it's starting to be the run of the mil. A 3 out of 5.

Well this saddens me as it's not as good as the last one BUT it's still enjoyable.

This is broken into two different stories. The first story is about Nightwing and Huntress teaming up to take down some bad guys. It's actually a murder mystery, but also a story about two humans dealing with relationships in different ways. It has Nightwing and Huntress sleeping together, fucking, and then not sure what to do with each other after. The second story is more of individual issues, some dealing with the earthquake in Gotham and Nightwing going to help, some dealing with Robin and Nightwing teaming up and kicking butt, a few about a new kid trying to be a hero naming himself "Nite-Wing" and more!

Good: The issues in the second half are a lot of fun. Well, some are sad. I thought Nightwing helping all the people in Gotham was great. Shows who he really is. I also loved the issues with Robin. Tim almost feels like a kid brother to Dick but honestly they are far more alike then they realize. Also thought the art was great still, well second half anyway.

Bad: The first half was kind of meh. I really didn't like the whole murder mystery, was boring. I also thought Huntress and Nightwing together didn't work, was kind of silly, and the whole fighting was meh.

Overall this is solid but not nearly as fun as the last volume. I hope the next one is more like volume 2. Let's see! A 3 out of 5.
