The enemy was absolutely fantastic. That's my final word on it.
It's fast paced plot line with twists and turns kept me on my feet throughout the read. Also being a gory horror (which for me is a big turn on) it also pulled on some heart strings when certain characters died. Charlie higson lets you get attached to certain characters then BAM he kills them left right in centre.

The Colossal Titan has breached humanity’s first line of defense, Wall Maria. Mikasa, the 104th Training Corps’ ace and Eren’s best friend, may be the only one capable of defeating them, but beneath her calm exterior lurks a dark past. This is the part of the series that really started to suck me in. While Eren can be a bit frustrating at time, I absolutely love Mikasa. She might be my new favorite female character in all of Japanese fiction.
A great way to re-live the tale of AOT. I've already seen the anime so I knew what was going to happen, but this time it felt more detailed and personal. Maybe this was because I had to read it myself and not watch it through voice actors, but to recreate the characters in my own voice.
The artwork is superb as always as well as the gripping action and plot.
I have read many of Ms. Cassidy's books, and this one is one of my favourites. Each of her books has a different plot line (except two of the books which entwine with each other). When I first read this, my heart was pounding when things got intense and I sighed when they were alright again. It has many troubles of a teenage girl in it, one of which her best friend starts dating her brother! xD
But I would read this if you're into the girlie pre-teen books.

This book. I have waited 13 long, exciting books to reach this epic conclusion to this intellectual story of 3 unfortunate orphans.
I have enjoyed every moment of this series, as it is my first book series to fully read and have enjoyed it. When I started this book, I was so full with excitement to finally see that happens in the end! And I am happy to say that the ending was suited to this amazing yet unfortunate story.

I loved this book because it has such a sad plot and because at the time i loved the colour blue. I think i nearly burst out in tears when the mother got beaten by her boyfriend in the car and when she had to go to hospital.
