Saw this on Tiktok and as a Tom Hiddleston fan, I couldn't not read it. It was super cute and a nice palette cleanser between books. I know a lot of reviews say it was too "fanfiction" like but as a regular reader of fanfiction, I don't see that as a negative. I would have read a longer version of this, I generally like a more slow burn story than the instant heat, but since this was short, I didn't mind.

Read the first two in this series and moved right on to the third. I didn't like this one as much as the first one, but I liked it more than the second book. I really liked the characters and the story. Had some spice. Great in between books or a nice short read.

I went through a Titanic obsession after the movie came out. I wanted to read anything about it I could. My dad had read this one and so he recommended it. It hit the spot at the time. Didn't follow through reading many of the other Dirk Pitt novels after this one. Isn't something I would reread now that the Titanic obsession has ebbed.

This whole series was my jam back in the day. I went on a hunt to find copies of this series a few years ago and had to search thrift stores to find it. I don't read much horror books as an adult, but this is a comfort read I will go back to every so often!

just writing this review is making me want to reread this series. A lot of books have come to my book shelf and then left. I used to regularly take this out at the library to reread until I finally found my own copies at a thrift store. It still lives on my shelf as of today at 36 years and old and will get reread probably soon.

Oh you thought it was over, but it wasn't! Seriously, I don't know why I love these books so much but they are such a nostalgic comfort read. I remember being a kid and hiding under my blankets with a flashlight so my parent's didn't know I was reading instead of sleeping and hearing the birds come out in the morning but still needing to just finish the book!

This is one of my son's favourite books to read. He has gone from having it read to him to reading it on his own and it's fantastic! Him and I have very indepth conversations about whether the pigeon should get to drive the bus. He is not impressed with me that I would let the pigeon drive the bus.

The choke hold this book had on me as a child. This is my absolute favourite children's book ever. My dad read this to me almost nightly with a perfect Grover impression. The suspense, the giggles from turning the pages even though Grover didn't want you to. Perfection. I now read this book to both my kids as an adult (using my very worn original copy from my childhood) and yes, I do my best to do all the voices (but not as perfect as my dad who also reads the book to my kids)

This is the book that every kid in my school wanted and was never in to borrow at my school library. I didn't actually get to read this book until I read it to my kids because it was always checked out. This book is a must read for every child.

This was another book read to me as a child, that I read to my kids as an adult. This book is so great and I now appreciate the fact my dad could read parts of this book without taking a breath LOL. Great book for kids to learn how to read with because of the repeating phrases as you read.
