The disability representation was so interesting but those damn 18+ scenes were so badly written, it really took me out of the story...

I feel like the main story ended a bit abruptly, especially since I would have wished to read it forever, maybe lol. This world the author created just begs to be explored. We still got a lovely closure though, so I bid farewell to the characters with good feelings.

Shea Ernshaw books kind of disappoint in the way that they're presented: interesting background base, unique writing style, amazing sets - yet the characters and the story itself continue to suffer. Boring and unsympathetic main and side characters that we cannot care about, almost nonexistent plot, devices and themes brought up that don't get used well enough or at all, twists that one can see coming from a mile away...a failure,  really, as much as it hurts to admit. So much potential waisted, I was rooting for you, we were all rooting for you!!! Better luck next time...(?)
