I could not get into this book. The main plot was taking way too long to set up and I didn’t care enough about the characters.

I don’t know if it’s the writing, the narration, or me, but I’m bored.

Not for me

Just can’t get into this one on audio. I may try it some other time in print.

I’m bored.

This book really needed an editor. There were several repeated plot points with the same exact phrasing. Some of the Orthodox aspects really bugged me too. And I kept waiting for the characters to become likeable and they never did. 

Not one but two gruesome deaths of dogs in the earliest pages. I was not going to keep reading to number three.

My brain just can’t follow this right now. I hope to pick it up again another time.
