Oh Myles, you wonderful human being. It isn’t that he isn’t flawed, but the way he deals with his past and his problems is so kind. I was so frustrated with Cat several times that she couldn’t see that, haha! Which is a good thing, because it’s a sign to me that I’m sucked into the story and I want them to kiss and make up already! Cat’s journey is a difficult one, having been let down so often by other men in her life who were important to her. I’m so happy she has Geoff and Alex in her life to help her get out of her head sometimes, and how they keep pushing her to talk even if she doesn’t want to. Like Myles does as well. 

One of the best moments is when Cat says “I don’t need you, I want you.” It shows that she learned she can do so much on her own, but that it’s okay to want to let others help. Oh, and the incident with the staple-gun was another of the best moments, it was just perfect!

Such a fun, drama free read! I normally like my romances to have some hiccups and trouble before the HEA, but with Eddie and Birdie I was very happy to have their story be without them. They already know each other, with six years of friendship under their belt, and it takes a train ride to act on their attraction and finally get together. Their time apart after finally admitting their feelings is a great way to make them feel that it’s real, and not ‘just’ from being in close proximity for extended periods. I loved reading the text messages and voicemails, they made me laugh so much!

This was such a good college sports romance! Falling for your best friend’s sister can’t be easy, especially when he’s an overprotective big brother. Ellie and Simon are great together, but some more communication now and then would make things even better.

They have their troubles, and I’m glad that even though Cal is definitely a reason they struggle, it isn’t because he caught them together before they had a chance to tell him. 
I loved reading how Ellie slowly learned to stand up for herself, to her father, to her brother, and goes for what she wants, who she wants.

DNF @ 20%, I struggled getting this far, this one just isn’t for me

I know I’m in for a good story every time I pick up a Pippa book, and she did it again with this one! I’m so happy to have read Willow’s story, I loved her in the other books already and she deserved a happy life. And oh boy, Dax is perfect to help her with that, a bad boy rockstar with a heart of gold! Their story starts of unconventional, kidnapping someone shouldn’t lead to a road trip adventure and love, but in a way they rescue each other.

This book was so good! The relationship between Damon and Rhett is so sweet, going slowly from a hookup to being a couple. Rhett is struggling with a past relationship, making it hard to open up again, but Damon is the sweetest, most patient person in the world, and he slowly breaks down the wall around Rhett’s heart. Just in time for him to start a new job, making them have to deal with a long distance relationship. My heart goes out to them, that must be so hard! I’m so glad they both have people in their lives to talk to, and give the good advice to keep communicating, no matter how difficult that gets with the distance. Thank you, Dylan, for saying what I was saying! I can’t wait to keep reading this series, and see Dylan fall in love with a firefighter!

You can definitely read it as a standalone, but I do think it will be even better if you read The B-Side first

This was such a fun book, I completely forgot the time while reading and suddenly it was 3am! 

I did get frustrated with Ruby when she just jumped to conclusions when Bane had to leave for London the second time, without even trying to talk to him about everything. If she wants his trust, that she has to give him the same. Luckily, Bane knew exactly who to go to for information, and fought for both of them!

I just couldn’t put this book down, it’s so good! It definitely kept me up past my bedtime. I loved Tessa and Justin so much, as people and as a couple. They’re amazing together, and they made me swoon on several occasions. Their first date was so perfect for them, I couldn’t stop laughing. From the moment Tessa says ‘we have all the time in the world’, I was waiting for everything to be flipped upside down, because that’s just asking for trouble! And oh boy, did the trouble come. The big plot twist wasn’t my favourite, but I still couldn’t stop reading, I just had to know how everything would be resolved! They deserve a happy ending, even with the rocky road they were on!

This was another great book by Vi Keeland. She’s definitely one of my one-click/preorder authors by now. I did see some of the plot twists coming from miles away, but that didn’t make the journey less enjoyable to read!

Be still, my heart! I loved reading the story of Chance and Tyler so much, and it was so refreshing to read a love story where people talked about what is bothering them instead of jumping to conclusions and ruining the beauty, love, and trust that is between them! I’m a big fan of the writing style, the banter and the flirting was just perfect! The book starts off pretty light, but it doesn’t shy away from heavy topics, like homophobia, and I think it’s handled beautifully and real. Tyler and Chance hold a little bit of my soul now.

And the playlist connected to the book is just amazing, I will definitely keep listening to it!
