This book was just okay for me. It felt very slow but at the same time it read very fast and I did want to finish it. I’m not sure how to explain it, but I felt like the choice of words didn’t really fit the story and it kept taking me out of the flow. I don’t think I will continue the series.

This book was so good! It tackles some serious issues, and it’s all about trust and character. Both Rush and Lennox struggle with opening their hearts after great loss, and I loved how their hearts accepted it was okay before their heads came to the same conclusion. It’s always a struggle to figure out how things are. A detail that I loved was that Lennox’ whole family calls her Lenn, but Rush calls her Nox from day one. It just made me smile every time!

I loved reading the story of Sadie and Chris, it was so good! This was a great book about change, about love, about closure. I really felt for Chris, and his struggle to let go of the past and allowing himself to be happy again. The  road to their HEA was filled with twists and turns that made me talk to my book, I was that invested in them getting together! It’s steamy, it’s sweet, it’s great! It is part of the Jewel Lakes series, but you don’t need to read the first two books to enjoy this one. I would recommend reading the others as well, since they’re great too!

This was such a sweet book with just enough struggle to give it heart. I really liked it, but sometimes it felt a little bit like the words were there but I didn’t feel them. Hard to explain, and in the end it was still an entertaining read!

I’m so glad I read this one, I can’t wait to read the other two in the series! Tatum and Kiki are so sweet together, and it was great to see their relationship develop!

DNF @ 15%, just was too slow for me 

This was a great read, about choosing love, about choosing you. The text chapters were a great way to get some insights of London with the rest of the book is from Teddy’s POV. I did feel like something was missing for me to fall deep into the book, but I can’t quite put my finger on it what that was. But overall it was still very entertaining!

This was a beautiful story about love, about coming to terms with yourself, and to stand up for you. I loved how Roderick’s and Kieran’s story developed, struggles and all. It felt very real.

It was a good read that kept me entertained, but I would’ve liked a bit more of a struggle after everything. 

I thought that Elle forgave Nic too easily after the lies, and I would’ve liked to have him have to work a bit more to gain her trust back. After everything, it was all settled again too quickly for me.
