This book was so intense, I needed to take breaks every now and then while I was reading it even though it was so good! The slow-burn between Brick and Remi was so intense, their sexual tension was so strong, that I even tried to tell them that it was okay to act on their feelings! But there’s so much more going on in the story than just their romance, and it all played out so well. The handled topics were very heavy, very stressful, and very well written. I felt I was in the room with them when everything unfolded, biting my nails and worried about everybody.

This audiobook was great! I always love dual narration, and it worked so well for this one. I even listened to it outside of my walks and drives, which is always the sign of a good one!

**I received this book as an ARC in return for my honest review**

This was such a fun, drama-free book! It wasn’t that Liam and January didn’t have any trouble, but it was nice to read a story where their issues were dealt with without blaming others. They start out wanting different paths in life, but it’s impossible to resist their connection. This story shows that life can’t always be planned, sometimes it just happens. There were several laugh out loud moments, and I was even talking to them both several times! Because come on, Liam. IKEA? It’s not that hard!

This was such an entertaining read! It was great to be back in Bellamy Creek. It was great to follow Enzo and Bianca on their journey to love, with their  unconventional start. The book handles a very serious topic and all emotions that come with that with grace, and I just absolutely loved the final third of the book.

I was so glad that I bought both books of the duet at the same time, because with the cliffhanger book one left us with, I had to keep reading immediately! This book is a bit more serious and emotional than book one, dealing with several big issues. I absolutely adored the love Scout and Easton have, their bond is so strong. It was so good to see how they kept communicating when times got tough, but that they also understood when the other just needed som time alone to process. This is so important! My heart broke for them both several times with some of the revelations, and I was proud of them for how they were dealing with everything. The epilogue actually made me tear up, I’ve dealt with similar situations from the side of the sports fan in the crowd, and seeing it through the eyes of the player just hit close to home. I’m just so happy I found this duet!

What a great story! I love this kind of plot, slowly breaking through each other’s walls, talking to each other. This setup is so great, I can’t wait to read part two!

This book started out fun, with lots of potential for a great read. Flirting, passion, a fake relationship between childhood friends, all good. Their fling is so hot and good, but I got really annoyed after the big plot twist.
I really don’t like the unplanned/surprise baby trope. I feel it is overdone, and I just get annoyed by it. I do think this book doesn’t handle it the worst I’ve read, and maybe I’m so annoyed because this is the fourth book this month that dropped it on me, but I didn’t feel the story needed it. Nate going from the bad boy who never does more than a one night stand to falling in love and realizing that would have been enough without throwing a baby in the mix.

I loved so much about this story, Knox is just amazing! It’s great how he listened to Emory about her past and why she’s hesitant for anything more than friendship, and they take their relationship very slow. Getting to know each other is so important. At some point I started to get hesitant to keep reading, because I knew drama was going to happen and with how open they were throughout, I had trouble accepting something could go wrong. I could understand the fight and Emory’s reasoning, but I wasn’t a fan of the outcome and the sudden lack of communication. The last chapters knocked the book a star down for me, it just felt way too rushed for me after such a long time.

This was such a quick read, it was great! There was no real drama, Tyler and Delaney had enough of that in their past. This is a book about second chances, closure, and taking things one day at a time.

The book was so easy to read, and I loved Braxton’s journey from who he was with Amber and who he is with Sophie, but the reasons that Sophie wanted to stay away got too repetitive for me to really enjoy the story. I understand being worried, but it felt like I was reading the same problem over and over again.
