I love a good fake relationship story, and this is definitely a fun one! Dev and Audrey work so well together, but his job and the contract make it difficult for Audrey to know what’s real and what isn’t. It was a great story, but the final 20% felt a bit rushed and too predictable for me. For how strong the rest of the book was, it fell back a little too much on cliches.

There’s nothing better than a Pippa book if you want a good laugh, a good story, and  a good time! I love Nick and Kami, they’re just so great together! And after meeting Muffy, I can’t wait for her story!

This isn’t your happy-go-lucky romance novel, it was actually a super intense book. It took me much longer to read because I had to put it away at times to just process the emotions of it all. It’s a beautiful story about grief, loss, saying goodbye, finding love, and how to handle having to deal with it all at the same time. 

 

I loved Nate and Casey, they work so well together. It felt like they both got to drop the pretense around each other, and just be themselves. Feel whatever they feel and let it out. 

 

I had some moments where I was a little lost in the story. At times the descriptions got almost too detailed for me, and sometimes it was tricky to figure out whose POV a chapter was written in, since it switches between at least five people, but luckily I was never confused for long. In the end I still loved the story, and those are really just details absolutely a beautiful book. I need a moment to process this one.

Another amazing book in this series! This is Chase’s story, the youngest of the four sisters. Her’s and Gunner’s is a very intense story, and they both have been through so much in their lives already. I felt pulled into their romance, their struggles so much and I just couldn’t stop reading. This is a story about getting a second chance of being happy, it is about finding love when you least expect it, it is about grief and processing it, it is about the struggles of being left behind. There were several moments with Gunner that had me choking up, where I had to put the book down for a moment to process it all, the only way I can describe them is as hauntingly beautiful.

This was such a fun book! It took a moment to get going, but the moment they arrive in Cancun, is when the story gets so good!

This was a very good story, I love Greg and Julia, both apart and together! I loved how patient Greg is, and that he understands the struggles that Julia is facing with her work and why it’s difficult for her to be open about their relationship. Their happy ending is so sweet! The one thing I didn’t like was that the epilogue wasn’t from either of their POV, and it also wasn’t focused on their story. It felt more like a preview for the next book than a cute happy closure of this one.

You just can’t go wrong with a Pippa Grant book! I love that Eloise found someone who likes her just how she is, no need to pretend she’s someone she isn’t. Rhett is amazing! I loved that there was a bit of mystery/suspense thrown in the romance story, keeping me on my toes wanting to know what was going on!

Just the book I needed, after a couple of reads with heavy topics. It was fun, and very steamy. I love Lincoln and Jazz, but it would’ve been even better if they actually had some conversations about what they were dealing with, on top of all the dirty talk

I needed a moment to process the story after I finished this one! It deals with very serious issues that happened both in the past and happen in the present (do check the content warnings!) but I felt it was written very well. I couldn’t stop reading until I finished, avoiding making dinner and everything. I felt every emotion for both Emerson and Grant, about everything they were going through. Very intense, and it was a very good book!

This was such a fun, flirty, steamy book! Ash and Lizzie are so good together, it was just what I needed!
