This book is just… perfect! I don’t really have the words for it, it’s just so good! The story flows so well, and it just made me incredibly happy. There’s so much sex positivity in the book, and the importance of trust and consent is explained so well, without ever getting preachy. It’s just… *chef’s kiss* I loved it!

I loved this book so much! Even more than book 1 in the series. Freya and Sam were amazing, the air was sizzling every time they were together. The case in the book had me on the edge of the seat the whole time, unsure where all the twists and turns were taking the story, needing to know the solutions!

It was great to catch up with some of the couples from the Hot Jocks series in this novella!

Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward never fail to bring the best books. This was another great one! It was an emotional rollercoaster, and I just had to keep reading!

**I received this book as an ARC in return for my honest review**
This was such a great novella! I love baseball romances, and this was another amazing story. Both narrators were new to me, and they were so good! Even though I would have loved to spend a lot more time with Chris and Josh, the novella never felt rushed or insta-lusty to me. I hope Lauren Blakely and KD Casey will write more (and longer) books together, I’m first in line to read them!

I’m always looking for great romantic suspense stories and this book is definitely a great one! I loved the tension in the story, both around the case and between Delilah and Henry. Can’t wait to continue the series!

This was a wonderful read. It’s quite the slow burn, but the chemistry between Michelle and Will was so obvious from the first page! They both struggle with being hurt in the past by their partners, and not ever wanting to go through that again. It’s why they promised themselves never to get involved with someone else again. However, their connection is just too strong to keep denying! Another great book in the Jewel Lakes series!

This story kept reminding me of a quote by John Lennon:
life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans
I can’t even explain why, but it feels very fitting.
Part 1 of the book was a big adventure, an escape from their real life, and I loved every second of it. I kept thinking about what the big twist would be in part 2, but I still didn’t see it coming at all! The book had a perfect balance of fun and drama, and listening to Sebastian York and Andi Arndt makes everything better!

I loved this book! It was a great lighthearted story, Nicole and Ryder are amazing! Their chemistry jumped off the page, and I’m so glad they weren’t so stubborn to stick to the original plan for too long!

This was a great read! I really liked how realistic their struggles with long distance were, while still keeping the story low angst. And I especially appreciated Dominic telling Joe to not assume shit and ask how Caterina was feeling! It always makes me so happy when people in books get called on that.
