What a great first book in a new hockey sports romance series! Collin and Harper are amazing, I absolutely loved all their app and texting conversations. The story was full of swoon and steam, just the way I like it. I’m very curious about everybody else’s stories on the team now!

Another great romance by Lauren Blakely! I loved Owen and River, I’ve been curious about whether they would ever take the risk in the Men of Summer books where we met them, and what a great way to do it! The balance between worry for their friendship and the need to do something about their feelings was very well done. They made me laugh, they made me swoon, what else do you need?! It’s always great to meet back up with characters from the other books in the Men of Summer and Rules of Love series, but this book does not require you to read any of the others. I do recommend reading them though, just because they’re great!

This book was like The Italian Job meets The Bold and the Beautiful, with Emery as Charlize Theron. It was great, full with suspense, distrust, and intrigue. I loved Vance and Emery together, and even if I did guess some twists and turns before they happened, it didn’t make it any less entertaining to read!

This was the best! I was giddy and grinning throughout the entire book, I got some strange looks when I was walking outside because I had a smile the whole time. The phone calls were so much fun, I loved the narration so much! It started off super lighthearted but it also dealt with pretty serious topics without making everything super heavy. A great listen!

I liked this book, Stella and Dean were great! It was a quick read, and both their independence was great. However, I did find myself very frustrated several times how they both kept making assumptions instead of communicating. If you can’t ask your best friend for help, you’re not being independent, you’re just being stubborn, accepting help isn’t giving up power, that’s just not how it works.

I really liked this book, it kept me up until 1am to finish it! I would have loved to get more current day chapters in Chase’s pov, but he was very open towards Reese about his feelings so we did sort of get his side of things that way. I was very happy with their communication to each other in general, it’s always so good when characters actually talk about their feelings! Once again a Vi Keeland book that takes a completely different turn than I expected, you think I’d have learned by now!

This was such a cute audio novella! I spent the entire listen with a big grin on my face, arguing with Cooper that he was being an idiot, and I say that with all the love in the world.

I liked this book, especially Cooper! But unfortunately it felt like there were too many struggles and too much drama in the past to make me be drawn in the story. The resolution felt too quick for me, with almost no communicating suddenly everything was solved? I can understand that people handle grief and guilt in many different ways, but I missed especially how McKingley deals with everything.
