This book was about some famous places in Germany, and the history of each. I had hoped that it was going to be a very interesting book, but I found it to be very boring. I did not like this book at all. I wish that I would have, because it really did have some good facts in it.

I got this book with my Audible credit. It has been on my list for a while, so I finally listened to it. As a historian, I love old places and abandoned things. There are so many places all over the United States that have a pretty rich history for a relatively young nation. American history is not what I majored in, so I do enjoy learning about it offhandedly. I am also interested in paranormal things, so I thought this would be right up my alley. This book outlines various kinds of supposedly haunted locations. I enjoyed hearing all of the stories and histories of each of the places. I would love to visit a lot of them. I am sure they would offer a lot of amazing photographic opportunities. This book also attempted to dispel many of the claims of paranormal activity. It was an interesting book to listen to if you are interested in this type of thing.

This is the story of the 6th Ranger Battalion, who went to the Philippines to rescue 513 prisoners of war. They were being held in a nasty camp in Cabanatuan. Some of these prisoners were the last ones surviving from the atrocious Bataan Death March. This book was so emotional to read. It is appalling what so many people endured in these camps, the starvation and torture. The conditions were disgusting. War is never a great thing, but to read about these aspects is heart rending. I would recommend this book. Hampton Sides is a great writer.

As a person who has experienced some weird things without logical explanations, I have always been interested in the paranormal. I like the approach that Jason and his team take in looking for answers for things that seem weird and creepy. I love the personal stories in these books, and this one was no different. Great read!

I have watched Ghost Hunters for years. I have been a loyal fan, even through the split of the team. I watched it with both Jason and Grant, and when it was just Grant, and now again with Jason, Steve, and Tango. I appreciate their style of ghost hunting. I enjoyed this book, because it just added some more personal experiences to what I had previously read and watched. This was interesting and engaging, and it didn't take me long to burn through it. If you are a fan of the show, check out the books!

This is an addendum to a previous book, which contains more short stories about investigations and personal experiences. I love this team and their personalities. This was a good book. I enjoyed it.

This was a very moving book. All of the books from Torey Hayden have been very moving, in my opinion. It is so sad to see what some kids go through. I would recommend all of these books.

I really enjoy this show and the dynamic that all the team members have with each other. I love the approach they have to their investigations. I love learning the history of the places they visit. I have read all of the books they have put out, just to have that added level of personal experience. This was a really interesting read, and I liked it a lot.

I think that Georgiana is one of the most fascinating nobles that I have read about. This biography was very enlightening. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone interested in learning about this woman.

I do not know a lot about the American Revolution, besides a few key events that we touched on briefly while in elementary and high school. I never knew that George Washington had a spy network going. I suppose that spies have been used in all wars, but it just never occurred to me. I really enjoyed learning about this. I thought this was a great read.
