It was good, but really long. I definitely had to stop reading it for a while and, combined with its length, the plot was a bit difficult to follow. I liked the writing style and would really like to experience reading/listening to this book again sometime.
Never really remember reading a Winnie-the-pooh book before so I decided to try it on a whim. It was pretty good. Absurd in a childish way, but good never the less.
I have of course read her short story the Lottery (for which I am forever annoyed at its comparison to the Hunger Games), but this was my first time reading another one of her works. I loved this book and found the characters so interesting and intruiging.
I totally understand why this mystery novel is so well known. It was really good. I didn't so much like the lead detective, but nobody really reads these books for the detective, do they. Definitely took me by surprise.
I didn't really like this all that much. I couldn't really get into it that much.
I read this book for a class. Even though I didn't really like the characters and was found them really frustrating, it was well written. I grew tired by the toxie cycles both characters found themselves in. It reminded me vaguely of House on Mango Street, where the female protagonist makes all the wrong decisions, but much better written and justified.
This was a pretty good book. I liked how quick and short it was for a Murakami novel. It was strange and absurd but in a wonderful way.
A nice, quick read. Fun, but I wish it was longer.
It was good I guess. A perfectly decent book. I just don't understand all the hype about it.
