This book was pretty fantastic. I love how the author reads the book and how food is used.
Wasn't too into this book until the very end. Daisy and Tom were fascinating, more than the titular character, at least.
I liked it and I think it's a book I should have read rather than done audio for. I definitely felt like I missed some things. But it was pretty great. Dark though.
I liked the short stories more than the novella. The style of the stories were nice and snappy. The novella was decent but I feel like it could have been a little longer.
At first, I didn't know it was a short story collection, so I was a bit confused, but it was really good. Some were better than others, but it was great overall.
Better than The Song of Achilles. I liked the characterization and development of Circe. Her reckoning with immortality and her nature was particularly good.
This was a long, good read. I sometimes thought it may be too long, but it was really well written and beautiful and each section had impact. Although it was expected, this book was tough to read because of its content and the narratives it focuses on. But so good.
