The story told was extremely interesting and informative. While I don't think the prose was particularly well written by conventional standards, the style sounds so young and helps to emphasize just how frightening and precarious his journey was at his age.

Oof, that was a great book and the climax and ending was fantastic! The study on motherhood and children and everything just went in such a crazy direction. The changing mental states of the characters, their motivation, and the build up to the final ending was such a moment.

Perhaps it was because it was so short and I listened to it on audiobook, but I found it difficult to get really engaged in it. It was okay, but not my favorite.

There were a bunch of wonderful short stories in this collection that I really loved. As a whole, I liked The Dangers of Smoking in Bed better, but this colelctionw as still great. I definitely want to read more from her.

I've never really read much of the genre, so this kind of book was a first for me. I really enjoyed it though, especially the balance between chracter development and scifi/plot elements. Even though there were quite a few characters, I didn't have much trouble understanding and keeping tack of each one.

The book started up slowly in the beginning but it really paid off in the end. The artwork and characters were beautiful and it was a lovely novel all around.

These stories were fantastic and I definitely want to read more of her work.

I honestly don't know if I really like to book or not. It's certainly memorable and there are scenes and stories that I'll remember for years. I definitely liked it more than I disliked it. The stories were pretty dark and borderline repulsive at some points.

There was so little content in this.

This was probably one of my favorite books I've read this year. I love how it was structured and the reflection on her mother.
