For such a short work, it was surprisingly good. I often struggle with shorter works and feel that there's too little time to devlope plot, stakes, and characters. But this was surprisingly good at managing to do all three. Definitely a fun read.

This just wasn't for me. I didn't read anything about this book in advance, so I didn't know what I was getting into. The art was nice and I did like thr blue hues, but the subject matter just didn't interest me and I felt it was told too much through narration.

I think it says a lot about the book that someone who is entirely uninterested in the beauty industry and fashion thoroughly enjoyed reading this.

I've been wanting to start reading things by Terry Pratchett for a while and while I don't know exactly where to start, I figured this wouldn't be a bad place. It was a really wonderful book. The style of narration was distinctive and the characters had so much depth. I definitely want to read more.

Just too dense of a book for the moment.

This was absolutely brilliant. The horror elements and strangeness of the story was also fantastic.

This was a pretty good book. I loved the characters and I thought the pacing and world building was quite well-done. I plan to read the rest of the series and hopefully those will be as good or even better.

This has been done before and while that's not necessarily a bad thing, I don't think this piece added anything interesting to the formula. The artwork was nice though.

To be honest, I'm fairly sure I didn't understand everything about this novel and most definitely missed a few important points. That said, I really enjoyed reading it and came out feeling a bit melancholy at the end. The artwork was gorgeous and I loved the contrast between the hotel and reality.

Gosh, this is really disappointing because I wanted to love this book as much as Savy and like it as much as Scumble. But unfortunately, it's just not as good as the first two.
