Loved this series and I still do. It does follow some common tropes though (something more apparent in this book than the others), which can be vaguely frustrating but also understandable.

I used to love this series when I was younger. It still holds up pretty well.

Rereading this book. It's pretty much the only YA book series I feel still feel like reading occasionally.

There's something so wonderful about the optimism in this series. I wish there was another book in the series, but I'm also happy that it ended the way that it did.

I don't know if I just wasn't in the mood for it or what, but it just didn't click. And then my library loan ran out.

Just like the others in the series, this was great. The depth of these characters and complexity of their relationships is outstanding.

I found this really interesting. I didn't know much about the book beforehand, but I really adored the short, almost encyclopedic entries on the people of the neighborhood. It got pretty strange at time but it made it a fun and curious read.

I'm not really one for the cozy genre but I really appreciated this book. The world building and descriptive writing were really phenomenal. The characters, and their conversations, were wonderful as well.
