The dramatization is amazing but I miss the richness of the world building that was in the text.  Still worth the time though.

This was a lovely read.  I really enjoy the authors style, it leaves me immersed in the story and makes me care about the characters.  I had a mantra of oh this is a bad idea but do it anyway through the whole book.  Glad to see Caleb and Thalia get their happy ending.

 I realized I had read another book in this series with the Loveless brothers before and I LOVED the references to the family.  May need to read more. 

Super easy read, plenty of twists and angst.  Iris and Roman are fairly well flushed out, side characters leave a little to be desired.  The story rushes but does not suffer for it, though I found the worldbuilding somewhat lacking.  Overall an enchanting story and I do very much feel invested in reading the sequel.

This is a sweet quick read with a strong message woven in.  Seth and Charlotte are adorable and had me giggling the whole read (the tree humour and the twist in Seth's backstory were golden!).  Supporting characters were just as quirky.  I would read more about them all.
