This was a whole ride.  Watching the absolute mess as they all try to figure the right way forward after Iron Flame felt intense.  The threads pulled through from the previous books were well woven in to the story development and the characters all faced really freaking high stakes, but so many amusing moments in between ... Broccoli.   The ending felt abrupt, but intentionally so, with Violet missing her memory and being so lost in the moment, we went right down with her.  I'm just so freaking grateful Tarin isn't dead.

This was really adorable.  The characters were charming and funny, and provided their fair share of heartwarming, kick your feet moments.  Solid lighthearted low stakes read.

I have owned this book for far too long and not read it until now, and totally kicking myself for it.  I met Felicia a few months ago and while I already loved her, I have a deeper appreciation of her now and maybe wouldn’t have felt quite so intimidate .. maybe.

If you really think you're a monster then let us be monsters together.

😭😭😭

This was such a lovely end to this chaos trip back to Elfhame.  I hope we can all visit again.

I might love Wren as much as I adore Jude.

I wasn’t sure about revisiting Elfhame without Jude and Cardan but Oak was a fantastic door in.  A new merry band of characters to flush out and grow to love was exactly what I needed.

This series absolutely captured me and this is such a satisfying conclusion to the story.  Not only did Keera and Riven get well rounded archs, several characters that seemed to start a side roles did as well (Gwyn!).  The world of Elverath is so enchanting, and An Honoured Vow only brought out more of the history and vibrance of the world and it's potential.

You know those books you buy thinking "oh yeah this will be right up my alley", then you put off reading it for so long it feels like a chore, but you push through and do it only for it to consume your soul and you kick yourself for not doing this sooner?  That is Fourth wing.
