Such funny character interactions. I wouldn't expect anything less from Meghan Quinn! This is going to make such a cute movie! The end made my heart hurt but still such a sweet turn of events and happily ever afters for everyone.

I enjoyed this one! There were lots of pop culture book/reader/writer references and plenty of ghost/death puns that made me smile. This book does focus on grief and death of a parent. I thought Florence's quirk was fun and interesting and I'm so glad she got her happy ending after her growth and acceptance. There were a lot of quoteable favs but this one stuck out to me the most:

"I can't ever control how someone else treats me but I can control how I choose to live and how I choose to treat others and I'd worried about what other people thought and what other people wanted from me for years because I actually thought it mattered."

Am I in a reading slump? Cause this is another book of another author I enjoy that I couldn't get into at all and I'm left disappointed. It was set up to be something good and I just couldn't get into it. I didn't find Fizzy likeable.. Which is weird because she is likeable and funny and says what's on her mind regardless of if it's the right time but I just did not click with her. Everything felt rushed yet dragged out. 

I was really disappointed. It was really predictable and didn't hold my interest as much as I hoped it would. Misery's sass was the only thing I enjoyed and why it got an extra star.

Bridgerton meets Cinderella and I ate it up. I loved it!

Great plot that was predictable but also still surprised me. I enjoyed the character arcs of the main characters and loved all the side characters. Handful of good tropes: small town, brother's best friend, great banter, found family, probably more that I can't think of... Overall was a great read. The only thing that bothered me was the fastest third act breakup ever that it seemed unnecessary but oh well

This was such a fun Twisted tale of the favorite classic! I loved seeing all our favorite characters and also being introduced to some new friends. 

So many hopeful and lighthearted stories that make you smile and give you hope in humanity.
