It was cute, I just wasn't super in love with it...I don't know, just couldn't get into it as much as I wanted to.

I found the characters loveable but I didn't feel like their connection. The book took place over the course of 24 hours and they were admitting they loved each other. I'm not opposed to an insta love but it just felt off to me.

Fun perspective from just Warren's pov. Great character growth from Bridgette.

I feel like the plot was introduced in the very beginning and in the very end and not so much in the middle. Fast pace story with a lot crammed in. Characters were enjoyable.

I've heard mixed reviews that you either love this or you don't so I'm pleasantly pleased to have enjoyed this one and excited for the rest of the series!
This book had my attention from the beginning and there was always something happening. I also always love a book with great banter between the main characters throughout the whole book.
I really like Poppy already more than any of the other fantasy FMCs I've read -- she's not depicted as this fragile little thing. She actually had to work and train for her strength and also still wants the normal life like other fantasy FMCs.
"fear and bravery are often one and the same. it either makes you a warrior or a coward. the only difference is the person it resides inside"

I loved all parts of this book. I kept wanting to write things down and I found myself rereading passages over and over.

Reese is the perfect book boyfriend. He was very sweet and sexy literally from beginning to end. I feel like we saw more of their enemies to lovers in Homerun Proposal and not so much in this one but still a great read.
