A dark goofy comedy.
It’s well thought out and fun to read as you try to figure out how she’s going to deal with every curve ball that’s thrown on her.
Her relationship with her nanny/business partner was my favorite in the book.

The premise of this book was interesting, fun and sweet. 

However, I did not enjoy the way the story developed and how some major plot decisions did not feel concluded.

Love the premise and writing but I just don’t gravitate towards it 

This was ridiculous yet entertaining and funny. 

I adored diving into this world again. 
We got to see how a lot of traditions and practices that are common in Katniss' hunger games came to be and how the capitol's perspective of the game have changed.

However, the focus on Snow was a bit boring for me.
Knowing what type of person he was going to end up being at the end of his life helped me persist to continue reading his story. 
It's always interesting to watch someone go from "good" to "evil" and see how they rationalize it but this one just fell kinda flat. Specially in comparison to the series it's following.

Her writing style is kind of tedious to get through. A lot of repetition and tangents but the banter and overall plot was great.

Engaging, adventurous, thought provoking and fun. Deonn is brilliant at storytelling.
