Completely perfect for rom com fans who don’t need a lot of depth and just need a lovely and comfortable read for a cozy day. The twins were actually really likable IMO and I liked the partners they picked. Grandma Faye was my favorite.

This was sad, scary, gorgeous, reflective, hopeful, and it makes me feel so many other things! A quick, lyrical, could be our future story. Let’s hope we can come together. 

I thought this was a great story. Some things you always think you’ll believe about yourself, and then you can change your mind. I loved her strength and the woven story of her mother. Great insight into a different culture as well, especially two generations growing up in different countries. 

Great series. I love how plain and ordinary it seems, then just adds in so much magical randomness. I love all of the mentions of so many wizards and magical characters throughout other stories and novels. It mixed so many fun aspects with a complicated storyline of partners and self growth. 

This was so raw. I’m so glad she shared her story. So very awful and yet she’s not alone. I hope more joy and self discovery comes her way and she keeps growing in her true self. 

So much sweet and schmaltz! Just got this from my holds and said- Christmas? Why not. I actually liked it, the Midwest scandi in me loved the references and the ambience and the food and the magic. Very sugary sappy, but enjoyable if you need to curl up on a cold day and not overthink. 

This was an amazing story set in WWII Portugal and France. The connections, the courage, the quick thinking, the smarts of these amazing women. There are so many real stories like this fictional one it’s almost hard to believe. Even though I get tired from so much WWII historical fiction out there, I am still enjoying these stories not wrapped about sad and downtrodden women waiting for their beaus. 

Of COURSE I loved this book! Music! Train stations! Random connections! Home remodel! Loved. And lots of emotions shared. Communication. I loved the characters and the growth of many relationships. 

Too many characters for my brain to keep track of this moment in my hectic life. My books need to be lighter and easier plotlines than Greek mythology I guess. Maybe another time when I can focus. 

That was SOOOOO MUCH!!!! I’m going to need to reread before the next book. AHHHHHH SO GOOD!!!! The strength, empathy, friendships, honor, back and forth, I felt like the rug was pulled out from under me about 17 times. It was awesome. Great audio- but I will need the physical book to read again. I know I will discover even more.
