Such an amazing series and then this one comes along… it was very heavy with lots of secondary history. Although I love the art stuff and all her language nerdiness, this one was my least liked. The couple felt awkward to me, unlike the prior books, and it felt very jumbled. It’s good, not a total ignore, but I almost gave up a few times. The end is wonderful.

I need to read this now. I listened, as I loved the first book, but wow this is SO MUCH! The characters and their stories and personalities are so robust! I need to read to get all the strings again. Really amazing.

3.5. Kept me intrigued, but it wasn’t “thriller” enough for me! I actually knew where this one was going and I am sooooo bad at figuring out mysteries and twists. Felt a little jumbled too, but it was good enough. Lively.
