Bummer of a third book. Really liked the first two, but this one was full of dumdums. So I couldn’t get behind them. Easton deserved better. 

The fact that this isn’t shared in school astounds me. There is so much learned from this book, and so many pieces of history that are linked back to Hitler and his drugs. Eye-opening and jaw-dropping are what I can say about this. There’s so much to process from this, and tons of little snippets of this reign of terror that have been left out of history and should really make their way to the surface. 

This was really sweet. I loved how it came around and was so outrageous, but could be totally real life.

I really liked this!!!!! Why??!? It’s about an epidemic talking about a pandemic going back to the black plague. Since it was published in 1992, I’m impressed with the forwardness of imagining what 2054 would be like, and I LOVED the historians!!! Wow!!

This was pretty good! Great setting, unlikable characters, historical pieces, and very twisty. 

Really good. Enjoyed reading this, even though it was over many nights. Love FC’s heart and determination. A fun back story. 

This was gooood. So much happening. But wonderfully interwoven stories and symbolism. Magical in a creepy way, and keeps you wondering. 

Wow. Not impressed. I liked a few other books of hers, but this was a dud. I liked the opening third of the book, SNL/30 Rock for sure, but the rest of the book felt like the MCs were just tiptoeing around being so “correct” it was obnoxious. Also, too pandemic. 

Don’t read this right after another heavy family story. This was heart wrenching and loving, sad and hopeful.

Not an easy read.
