Such a deep and moving book. Whose Waves These Are explores loss and love, grief and pain, and the decision of whether to fight and struggle for those you love - be vulnerable and risk, or get stuck in regret and failure. “Don’t get stuck in the dark” and “they fight [the darkness] by lighting it up”... such truth and hope. Loved this one a lot.

The first third of this was really overdone and redundant with Alex’s infatuation but I enjoyed the rest. The military wives supporting each other is always refreshing, and I really liked Alex’s friendship with Ellie.
