I loved the premise of this and enjoyed the story but felt that it could have been a bit shorter/concise.
The treasure hunt element was fun but the eccentricities of the owner of the castle felt a bit of a tangent and the interviews didn’t really add anything imo.
I like the history between the MCs but felt like their miscommunication and doubt was a bit drawn out and left me feeling a bit frustrated, wanting to tell them to grow up 😂

I love Nina’s mum, indifferent about her dad. He seemed almost pointless apart from the one thing he did in the plot. I like Sabrina but their friendship was all one sided and for the sole purpose of Nina wanting advice.

I did enjoy it and really loved the first 1/3 in particular but would have enjoyed it more if the rest was less repetitive with the back and to between the MCs

I really enjoyed this book even though it took me a while to get into. I loved the narration and thought the accents were great. It’s so nice to read English narrators that aren’t from the south!

This was less a romcom (why do publishes slap that genre on books too often? There’s rom but not loads of com) and more a contemporary love story x survival story.

I loved the twists and the way the story linked together and how pieces fit together by the end of the book. It’s messy and real and lovely. And genuinely quite tense in places! I am very hit and miss with this author but this is my favourite of hers.

A really enjoyable romance with a fun setting (film set). I liked the time hopping to give more context to their history, and though it felt long/slow at times, it didn’t feel unnecessary. The 2nd chance and enemies to lovers is done well, there is some miscommunication which I don’t always enjoy but it’s not frustrating to read.
I found the ending a little cheesy for my taste but still enjoyable, and I loved the epilogue

Honestly, I stopped caring. It’s a little over the top at times and the frenemies stuff got a bit old. Like you’re just acting like a dick now. Loved the storyline with Cora though and the premise of the romance storyline was good, I just found them a bit bratty and annoying
