I really enjoyed this book even though it took me a while to get into. I loved the narration and thought the accents were great. It’s so nice to read English narrators that aren’t from the south!
This was less a romcom (why do publishes slap that genre on books too often? There’s rom but not loads of com) and more a contemporary love story x survival story.
I loved the twists and the way the story linked together and how pieces fit together by the end of the book. It’s messy and real and lovely. And genuinely quite tense in places! I am very hit and miss with this author but this is my favourite of hers.
