This is the story of what Clint 'Hawkeye' Barton does when he's not busy being an Avenger. Along with teen badass Kate 'Hawkeye' Bishop (of the Young Avengers) and his dog Lucky (code name: Pizza Dog) he fights off tracksuit-wearing, bro-spouting gangsters, drinks lots of coffee, and watches Dog Cops, the greatest fictional show ever created.

Everything about Fraction and Aja's series is outstanding, from the art, to the snappy dialogue, and the buddy-cop dynamic of the two Hawkeyes. Hawkeye is a fantastic read, regardless of whether or not you're into superheroes.

FULL REVIEW: http://hazzachaz.wordpress.com/2013/07/14/book-blathering-rooftoppers-by-katherine-rundell/

The strength of Rooftoppers is in its characters. Sophie, Charles, and to a slightly lesser extent, Matteo, are all unique, interesting, and complex people, and the parental bond between Sophie and Charles is particularly strong.
The plot is fairly basic, but still works, although the ending is a little lacklustre. And it was refreshing to read a YA novel where romance wasn't even a factor. Still, an enjoyable read, and I look forward to checking out Rundell's debut, The Girl Savage.
