Beautiful language, but I hated the plot device (it's all written in letters between the characters, meaning they recount events that each of them were already present for and it doesn't work) and the plot and ages of the characters made me uncomfortable. DNF.

I’ll be honest, even though it was the only audiobook I had downloaded when I went on my walk it’s a DNF. Listened on 2x speed which helped. I’m not going to get into fierce debates about it but safe to say I was not a fan of subject matter and messages, but put it up to two stars because the prose itself is decent.
