Delightfully executed, but I felt anxious the entire time reading this. “Accidentally killed a guy” is not for me
Fascinating if you spend way too much time on the internet. The conclusion wasn’t anything new or groundbreaking, but only because if you’ve been following Musk’s Twitter adventures you’ve probably already formed it yourself.
There were some nice and occasionally engaging elements of this book, but significant issues made it hard to read and extremely frustrating:
- Several plot points fall in completely the wrong place.
- You spend a lot of time waiting for conflict to occur.
- The protagonist is possibly the dumbest girl on the planet.
- The Show is touted as the greatest theatrical production in the world, but very little of it is discussed and when it it is it sounds dreadfully boring.
Overall this felt like watching very bad experimental theatre.
Was a little gutted when Osman decided to take a break from the Thursday Murder Club, but the man appears incapable of writing anything bad.
Fun concept, a ripping pace, and characters I’d love to have a drink with.
