There were some nice and occasionally engaging elements of this book, but significant issues made it hard to read and extremely frustrating:
  • Several plot points fall in completely the wrong place. 
  • You spend a lot of time waiting for conflict to occur.
  • The protagonist is possibly the dumbest girl on the planet.
  • The Show is touted as the greatest theatrical production in the world, but very little of it is discussed and when it it is it sounds dreadfully boring.
Overall this felt like watching very bad experimental theatre.
