Whew, I am destroyed, that's what I get for never reading the synopsis before diving in. I did not expect the level of angst and heartache. I thought it's a cute sexy story about banging a professor, not a woman being left at the altar and had to raise her kid brother by leaving school and taking in two jobs. Simone's writing's are always beautiful, this was bloody poetry. I also didn't expect a story about banging an archeologist to be so... Spiritual and full of worship but I'm here for it.

It's too short though I feel Cassie Mint didn't have trouble flushing out characters with a novella but this one didn't do the trick.

They say "good enough" a lot and no one is making a "Goode enough" pun, come on. Anyway the spice is great as per usual Sara Cate: bondage, degradation, BDSM, all great stuff. Characters felt flushed out and are so very tortured.

Whoowee, this book was steamier than I thought it would be. I loved it!! It's got some of my top fav kinks like voyeurism and bondage. If that doesn't sway you... How about murder mystery solving in a rough part of London with a touch-aversed hero? The heroine is so independent and playful for this time period too!

I love this! Reading this before the main book and it has whet my appetite for more big bloody swords. Is it instant love when the hero has been seeing the heroine in his dreams for eons? The heroine salivates over his competence and sacrifices. The world is cruel and the setting is brutal, I love every paragraph.

I loved this but maybe I shouldn't? Basically lactating kink mix with step-daddy and hucow erotica with caretaking. Also not me googling what cow milking machines look like.

I love gargoyles romance, the gargoyles cartoon has a lot to answer for haha. Heroine is an exhibitionist and solo time in front of the gargoyle without thinking he's alive, jokes on her, he's been smittened and watching her for a while. This is another 3s romance: sweet, short and smutty.
