Salt bloody Sea this was terrific! The world was interesting and a great premise for enemies to lovers, grumpy sunshine and he's mostly mad at her for living in colour whereas he's a monotonous shell going through the motions. I love the trope of MCs writing letters to each other and didn't know. I was not expecting the angst and the TEARS I've shed.

I normally love EK's writing but this one wasn't it. She lost me in the beginning when a Brit was boiling a kettle on a stove. I loved the love triangle and the mystery of her research project. It's a book about a new adult trying to experience life away from her dad's luminous shadows and I'm not sure it's hit the high for me.

Daddy Calamari, yes! Loveable stalker, yes! Fast and loose with the smutty tentacles, yes yes yes! 

Omg 5 smutty taboo stars. Step-daughter, step-uncle, step-daddy all the steps. A lot of questionable things and I gobbled it up; hidden camera, MFM, daddy kink, the whole works.

I wish this was longer! In less than 50 pages, we have a story of angst-filled rejection, misunderstanding and feeling treasured til the end of time.

My heart is in pieces and it shall never recover. I am undone by the hero after the torture the heroine puts us through. The angst is so achingly delicious, why can't they just be together?! All my favourite things: childhood friends to lovers, forbidden love, class difference and they see each other again 12 years later. 

I wasn't a fan of Bannin and his big mouth in Midsummer's Bride but his self-assureness in his persue of the reluctant heroine really worked for me. I love that we're exploring who got left behind because of the stone sickness. 

I'm not sure how I feel about this book. I read it for the lactation kink but stayed for the jumbled mess. I like it but I don't? It's the dark omegaverse with animalistic and weird anatomy changing biology and a 170 year age gap. Oh great-great-granddaddy.

The insta-love in this series always just *work* and believable. Their initial beginning is so funny where hero thought she's an old lady but then he is smitten!! It's a journey of the doting hero helping heroine to become her very best self, also reclaim her kingdom. Lots of caretaking and talking about how she's too fragile to take his big mighty weapon.

A lot of great things to love about this book! Full of excitement and I couldn't put it down. I got very frustrated at the main characters though but so many push and pull with angsty feelings of you know things won't last. Just tantalisingly exasperating
