You have me at uncle-in-law. The hero was sleepwalking and thought the heroine was his wife. No complaints, ma'am, it was hot.

Thanks to Elizabeth Roubaix for the review copy and this is my honest review.

Our lady explorer finds herself in the middle of a ritualistic orgy again but in Rome this time with men in wolf masks. She's the Mother Wolf and nurses the wolf twins with her body and kicking off a chase through the woods. I love your mind Elizabeth Roubaix.

Also, there's plot in this!! I mean besides collecting all the manuscripts, there is an overarching plot of potential romantic development between the heroine and her trusty amanuensis. I can't wait to see where that goes.

So Lupercalia is the festival of purification and fertility where naked men will run around and beat women with leather strips to get them preggo. And people say eroticas aren't educational, pfft, they've obviously not been reading Elizabeth Roubaix.

First things first, hey that r/romancebooks poster from that one time complaining about butt stuff in Stephanie Archer's books. You're not gonna like this one either. I, of course, loved it.

IS THIS MY NEW FAVOURITE STEPHANIE ARCHER BOOK?! It's definitely up there and hands down my favourite Archer heroine. The heroine is witty, sharp-tongued, holds a grudge like no other but also compassionate and competent. The same can be said about the hero really, two peas in a pod, it's why they burn so beautifully together.

Their romance is a long time coming from the previous books and for romance reasons, they must wed! Their married life together is delicious, it made me giddy and laugh at their antics and inner thoughts. All that "hatred" made the sexual tension burn so bright until they exploded with plenty of MY WIFE moments that delight the senses. I'm left with a warm and fussy feeling because nothing like reading the two going on a journey to eat their own words of "I don't love you and I never will" to being utterly and completely smittened.

Gloves Off will be available on 17 June.

Insecure barrel chested hero who is *desperate* for that puss is always a winner for me.

I had to mentally age these characters up from high schoolers. All my favourite things like pining, dirty talking heroines, pumping like crazy hero and inappropriate times for banging. I just needed them to be older.

Ahhhh! I need to stop reading these fantasy duologies that make me FEEL THINGS and have nowhere to channel these feelings besides the agonising wait for part 2 that'll come out in January.

Heroine is a powerful witch in hiding who was thrown into the Otherworld, forced to compete for survival in various trials and trying to avoid being a pawn of Gods in their games. The world is interesting and I loved learning about the different Gods and magical beings. It's a story about living with grief, vengeance and forming a found family. It ends on a cliff hanger and I cannot wait for part two!

The narrators have done it again bringing the characters to life with their individuality and emotional narrations. I enjoyed them immensely.

Kilt wearing hero with a shy but bold heroine, noice. Even though I found the central plot point frustrating, for a big loving family who are supposedly very protective, they sucked at it. But the main characters were brave in their pursuit of each other and truthful when it counted.

Were you like me let down by a hockey book promising banging in their pads but it didn't deliver? You're in luck, Flora Foxglove delivered that plus a wonderful little stalker story with drama and plenty of holy-hell-that's-hot spice.

Thank you to Little, Brown Book Group for the proof copy and this is my honest review.

This book is about an adorable gargoyle with his sidekick a diviner turned knight because the gargoyle stole the show, the book, everything!

The fantasy world was easy to digest with us being with the heroine who knew nothing beyond her world. We learned with her and experienced together; in pain, in love. The romance, aided by a single POV with yearning from afar, made me giddy, I adored it.

Also I need the next book like, right now!
