This novella and I are on the same wave length. I loved everything about it, the age gap, the heroine seducing the hero, papa/LG roleplay, hero's desperation and bear bod rep.

Cover definitely did not match the plot but I was rivetted either way. Way darker than I thought but I am not mad about it, onwards to book two!

Thanks to Elizabeth Roubaix for the review copy and this is my honest review.
A wanton wife putting her neglected self into writing by fantasising about the two brutes standing outside guarding her door. It's got all the greats: a willing cuckold, exhibitionism and seduction. A quick fun breedy romp.

The story itself took a while to start, I didn't get completely sucked in until chapter 8, it took a while for my brain to recalibrate but once the two heroes are in the same room and start developing a friendship, I couldn't stop reading.
If there is one book that is worth reading a physical copy of, it's this book. It is beautiful from endpaper to endpaper, even the paper it's printed on is smooth and the font they used is stunning. Some kind of Garamond? The book is illustrated with illustrations embedded within the text and spread across the pages, the writing itself is also beautiful. What an absolute joy to read.

The premise is refreshing!! I'm all for creative ideas to get them banging. When people go through "warps" in space and it puts them in a state of heightened arousal so the travellers aka warpers that go through it will often bring companions on board to bang it out.
Will read more from this author, love the quick high heat and simmering slow burn with breeding. MFM with their best bros fist bumping during a split roast. Cracks me up.

This one has all my favourites like touch starved and comes on command hero with filthy daddy dirty talk which I loved but on the other hand, the hero also broke a guy's nose just for almost being on a blind date with the heroine. Like the blind date guy didn't even see her! Shouldn't be so hung up on that detail when the hero deflowers the heroine in a PTSD infused nightmare thinking they're on a battlefield but he couldn't help himself and banged her anyway.

Thanks to B. Sobjakken for the review copy and this is my honest review.
The heroine wanted to lose her v-card because of an outdated Famiglia tradition and of course she ended up losing it to someone who'll end up being her arranged marriage husband.
I enjoyed it overall and was invested from the beginning. The heroine is tenacious to a fault but she's trying to make the best of a forced marriage with a non-communicative husband. Plenty of possessive "my wife" moments with trademark Sobjakken hotness that went down smooth.
It's the first of the Made Men of Manhattan series so the over arching plot is the set up for the sequels. I'm looking forward to the next book already, will definitely keep reading the series.

Thanks to KJ Charles for the review copy and this is my honest review.
I devoured this and didn't want it to end. Despite the post war time period it's set in and the serious subjects depicted, this book is humourous and filled with so much warmth. The dash of fantastical elements mixed in with ongoing mysteries had me on the edge of my seat from the first chapter.
It felt like tunnel vision with the two main characters wrapped up in each other's orbit as events happen to them, of two lonely souls finding solace in one another and coming together. The tension and the push and pull are so delicious, I wanted more of it.
The overall theme is to keep calm, put the kettle on and drink tea so the heroes can power through their many obstacles and don't we all need that energy in life.

Thanks to Finley Fenn for the review copy and this is my honest review.
The heroine is an insecure artist and I have never related so hard to a FMC in my life. The hero is up there as one of my favourite Orc Sworn heroes, he's an earth bender and his love language is gift giving and acts of service, say less.
The orcs are not big talkers on sharing information and feelings in general but this book takes the cake with a language barrier. The hero doesn't speak the common tongue but they do manage to transcend that barrier through ploughing and art.
He inks her body, she inks him back, she draws him nude, and it's all beautiful. Everything is art, including the many vivid orc prick descriptions which I loved.
You can expect the usual Orc Sworn goodness, slow burn in terms of romance but buckets of orc seed quick and early, heightened political stakes and angst.

Thanks to Fallon English and Good Girls PR for this review copy and this is my honest review.
I probably should've DNFed this around 30% but I carried on in hope. It didn't hit the mark for me unfortunately. It had a good foundation and potential interesting plot lines but the pacing was off with most of the characters spent in their inner monologues.
I did like the Fallon's take on the omegaverse social structure and the story set in historical times.
