This was adorable and one I can't wait to share with the kids in my life. Accessible poetry that builds up a narrative about a small otter trying to understand who she is and how she fits in the world. 

A strong story about complicated families with a dash of murder. Adult sibling relationships can be deeply complex and that really shines here. 

In general, I liked this. It was interesting and compelling. It was far too long and could have been tightened up or even split into more than one volume. But I would absolutely read another book.

A little heavy handed and could have benefited from looking at the invisible labor/mental load women carry, but King always writes a town cast in compelling ways. 

Okay. Maybe I would have enjoyed it more as a read aloud or in print instead of ebook. 

Not as strong or compelling as the first book, but it was good to read the conclusion!

Well researched and well written. A good reminder to stay centered in why I believe what I believe.
