I received an ARC of this book curtesy or Penguin Teen. I am SO hyped for this book. Marie Lu gets better at every series she writes. This book is perfect for fans of Ready Player One or Illuminae. It's action packed with great world building, incredible characters, and a few twists that left me aching for more. This series is going to be an instant hit. Not only is it well written but it's so much in to read. I can't wait for everyone to get to read this!
What's frustrating about this series is that each book is less and less about the "villains" on the covers. Ursula was barely in this book and I SUPER do not care about the authors OCs. Violet is boring and the witches are too. Also, we GET IT, being obsessed with beauty is bad. These books are such bullshit. I'm so mad right now tbh
