My friend Dani picked up this ARC at SDCC 2017 as a gift for me. I must say this book is a delight. Hard-core Lady Types are going to find so much to love about it. Even people who aren't familiar with the comics will love it. It's inclusive and funny and full of witty humor that kids and adults will love. I'm so excited to share this with everyone in October!

Ok. So like.... very early into this book I said to myself "it was the mother" and I kept saying that to myself until, yuuuuup it was the mother. I was really excited about this book and had high hopes. But noooope. Another thriller with an ending too easy to predict any unnecessary plot holes. Also the author seems weirdly bitter about Serial??! Maybe that's just me...

I was really looking forward to this book. I've wanted to read it since I heard about it. But between predictable plot twists, poor writing, and dull characters I just.... can't. The world is cool and I could have loved this. But alas....

Oh my god Charles always ruins me. I adore her book so goddamn much.
