I don't have anything witty or smart to say about this one. I found the characters flat, the story dull, the writing subpar. I know I'm picky when it comes to mysteries but this... did nothing for me, not even a little. 2 is generous but i didn't absolutely loath it so there's that.

 So this book is 20% plot, 80% hardcore smut. There is nothing wrong with a book that uses plot as a means to sex but the plot here was not great, the world building equally lackluster and while the sex was fun it wasn't fun enough for me to get passed everything I didn't like about this one. 

Hey this book is... amazing. I'm obsessed! I loved every chapter, I loved the characters, I felt like everyone was real and even when they were fucking up I understood why they were doing what they were doing. I thought the romance could have been done a little better but I still really liked it. Just... loved this one.

This is a darkly atmospheric read that is really haunting, linger with you long after you're done with it. I will say that there is a lot of moments that are hard to read, particularly if you have bodily autonomy issues. Well worth the read if you can get past those but if not please be careful with these trigger warnings. 

This book just didn't work for me. There were a lot of things going on and the lead character was frustrating. I'm not sure why anyone fell in love with her in the first place. She spends more or less the entire book making everything about her and she doesn't seem to actually learn her lesson. Some of the minor characters were worse, with a lot of actions not really having a lot of consequences. The ending felt flat and everyone was so ready to forgive each other and I don't really know why. A big let down for me.

This was a cute if predictable story. Sometimes the characters were hecking frustrating and that I think bothered me more than the plot. I didn't like it as much as I liked Written in the Stars but I still overall had a good time reading it. No necessarily a reread for me, though.

I like this. I didn't love it, which is too bad because I know others have, but I did enjoy it. I liked the world building and I liked the characters but the writing wasn't my favorite and the plot was a little predictable for my tastes. But it was a fun read, one that kept me going despite my problems with it, so it gets a rounded up four!

 Please, please, PLEASE pay attention to the trigger warnings. I was expecting a dark thriller, I wasn't expecting to get slapped in the face with religious trauma. This is not to say the book is bad, it's really good, actually. It has a lot of really important things to say. But the trauma is vivid and descriptive. I think it needs to be, I think it is necessary to make the point the book is trying to make, but that doesn't make it not hard to read. This is one of those books I binged mostly because I had to know what was going to happen.

 I love this. It's a slow-burn at it's best with some fake married and some Anastasia vibes. Plus the end was just... *chef's kiss.* I really loved this one, I think it is likely to become one of my comfort reads! 

Oh I'm so so deep into this now. I need Vol 4 like yesterday. I'm so into the romance, I'm so into the story, I need to know WTF actually is happening and I need some uh.... Well ok I'll just say it: I Like the Spice! Leave me alone, I'm tired and gay and sometimes I just want some spicy gay human/romance things.... Let a queer live please.
