I mean yeah, this was ok. Tropey but not in a bad way, predictable but, again, not in a bad way. I liked a lot of aspects of it, enough to make it a solid three stars but I didn't super love the leads and I didn't feel a whole lot for them. The chemistry was fine but not swoon worthy I guess.

Oh boy. I would have liked this a whole lot better if the love interest wasn't... the way they were. So much of this book didn't work but the minor characters saved it for me.

This was described as The Cruel Prince meets Cassandra Claire. This is true in that I hate both those books and also this one.

This was fine. I struggle to think of much I loved or much I hated. Not a book that I can really conjure much more than a "Yeah that was pretty good" about.

My favorite of this series so far. Fun, fast read that was delightfully mischievous. Love a good historical wlw book and my only sorry is that this one wasn't longer.

The second dark QUILTBAG+ story I've read this month. This is just as good as Yes Daddy while touching on similar themes but not being even close to the same book. Darkly addictive and hard to put down, it was very much like watching a train wreck in slow motion. Even with how dark it was, I still managed to care about these characters even while I was wanting to slap some sense into them. Not a fun time read but a good one for sure.

Ok so let's be clear here. This is a fine book. Like it's fine. The plot is a means to an end and that end is sex. The characters don't have much in the way of personalities and the world building isn't top notch. But it's a fun read. I just think maybe it's getting so hyped because some of you have never read p*rn with non-humans and that's ok, you can have fun discovering new things. For me it was a perfectly alright book, not life changing and not something I would likely reread or keep reading the series for. Still fun, tho!

This is a fun, compulsively readable book that has pretty much everything I want in a story: sapphics, anti-capitalism, heists, and found family. I'm sad that this series is coming to an end but Waite has said there will be more sapphic stories from them so HECK. YES.

This book was ... Fine. It wasn't particularly good, nor was it bad. It was just fine. That's the best I can come up with. The story is fine, the characters are fine, the world building is fine. It's just that it didn't ever fully draw me in, it was easy to put down, and I am left feeling... not a whole lot.
