This book beautifully marries indigenous wisdom, a daughter of earth and mother of humans reflections, and a plea for more people to care about what is physically around them and to appreciate things that they cannot see. 

It does exactly what it means to very well and beautifully. I feel I could come back to this someday and I would get more out of it for sure. 

I loved all the characters, the choices felt meaningful to the story and I really enjoyed the ending. It was very "girl boss" in a way that didn't slap one in the face which I appreciated. Only suffered from not getting as much time with everyone as I think was deserved to make their bonds seem as real and full of trust as they expressed they were. 

Just so so good. A powerful story with things to be said. I think my main takeaway is the importance of holding on and having hope and making room for things to be improved in the future. Hanging on even if you cannot fix things right now. And do what you can. 

I cannot say I enjoy such a book. But it is important and I am glad to have such books available and owned in my home for the future. 

I loved the narrator of this book. I was reminded of how my teenage self thought and felt... Melodramatic and so full of everything feeling like the end or the beginning of something. I enjoyed the storyline and conclusion. It was refreshing how different from the other books in the Heartbreaker universe this one felt. 

Fun and quick read. I enjoyed the romance and that everything wrapped up in one Season. 

I just... this felt like a real bummer. And I guess I was happy with the ending, but the whole thing felt like a downer to read. 

The book itself said in the intro not to read if you don't want to be spoiled for books 1-3 of Mistborn but to really wait until after book 7 if you want no spoilers at all and want to appreciate to its fullest. So I put it down and bought it to read later. 

I could have done without the weird sex stuff that did nothing for plot or characterization. The kid was sort of annoying... the vibes were creepy, but not as creepy/weird as some of my latest reads so I didn't enjoy it as much as I would have hoped. A fun enough lighter read though. 

Didn't quite hit a "scary" note for me, but it was certainly creepy and gross in many parts and was a very solid fun read. Highly recommend to anyone who has worked retail, shopped at Ikea, or generally likes creepy/weird reads!
