this was so good! loved having her as the narrator. some essays stood out more than others, as is to be expected. for personal reasons, i loved the heroines chapter. didn't love the wedding one, and a little disappointed the book ended with it.
happy to have read these! really glad this exists!
i won’t lie that twist got me. very quick and pretty intriguing read
enjoyed this! made me laugh out loud a few times. some things are a little dated, which i feel is to be expected with a lot of comedy. glad i read. sedaris is an excellent narrator.
this was SO GOOD. on principle i don't normally rate memoirs or poetry, so i'm not going to rate this, but i will say i THOROUGHLY enjoyed. one of, if not the best, celebrity memoirs i've read (though i can't say i'm so well read int his genre). love love love. perfect audiobook.
this was such a perfect book. the plot twist is, i think, the only thing between me and a five star. however, i did read this faster than i would have liked, and perhaps upon rereading at a slower pace, it will indeed be a five star. we shall see.
i thought this was fun and she did what she set out to do pretty well. i'm glad i will finally know what everyone's talking about now.
i really liked parts of this but others felt unnecessary and/or fell flat. i don't think i understand the connection between the first and second half. overall thought this should have been shorter.
