3.5 stars. I liked the first half a lot more than the second half. I resisted reading this for a long time because of warnings from others that it was dense and confusing, which I did not find to be true personally.
This was a light and fun read I really enjoyed it
Fantastic. Very surreal so I understand why some people don't like it or were confused by it but for me it was perfect.

This was really good. Light and funny at times, but also sad and kinda terrifying. I saw a lot of my highschool self in Jack and it was nice to see a lot of themes, like slut shaming and victim blaming which are most often thought of as things that happen to women, portrayed from a male perspective.

this book does describe teenage sex graphically so be aware of that but it's not written in like a 'sexy' way so imo its not uncomfortable or awkward to read as an adult
