Slow to start but impossible to put down once I was into it. I loved this book

I trudged my way through Frankenstein so I could get the full experience of reading this and I don't regret it at all. In fact, I think the authors love for the original shone through so much that it's made me want to go back and give it another chance. This book was an excellent retelling, and did a very good job of showing who the true monsters often are.

Unlike most people in my life, I am not at all versed on Greek mythology. In a lot of ways this changed the experience of this book for me, because where other people may have known what was coming based on context and characters that showed up, I usually didn't. I can't say whether that was a good or bad thing, but I loved the book and it's definitely made me want to learn more about the world Circe came from

This was... Weird. Like I didnt dislike it exactly but nothing really happened. It felt incomplete, as if it ended before the climax.

This was much better than the reviews led me to believe, but not as good as the author's other work

A good ending. Better than the first book, I really liked how the afterlife was decribed

I honestly loved this series so much. enough that I read all 3 books in 2 days. I actually started confusing it with my real life, thinking about what the characters were doing, dreaming about them. I was skeptical, before starting this series, because I'm not really a fan of angel books.. But these books took me by surprise, they were not at all what I was expecting. I laughed and cried for the characters in this story, I rooted for them. I'm so glad I decided to read these books.. I think that their stories will stay with me for a long time.

I read this in a day, couldn't put it down. It was sad and stressful and scary but it was very insightful.
