Best of the series so far. As things start going south for the Kingdom, Diablo finally wakes up to reality and stops role-playing. Really enjoying him understanding how serious the situation has become.

Accidentally read this before book two, but oh well. Anyway, I almost DNF'd this book, as the whole first half of this book felt like "How many characters can we make the reader find annoying and aggravating AF". The second half of the book saved it from the DNF pile, even though it didn't really change my mind on most of the characters.

Had fun with the first volume, and it felt like a classic anime OVA... unfortunately this volume just fell kind of flat. I didn't find anything interesting and a lot of of fluff. Nothing of substance really happens. I kind of wanted to drop the series after this volume. Ended up finding out the third volume is the last one, so I'll finish the series at least.
